What’s your story?
Robert Fagan, the curious one at BHC, has an extensive background in both creative marketing and production. As a founding member of KesselsKramer Los Angeles, Robert helped build the renowned European advertising agency’s first US outpost.
Prior to KKLA, Robert was a founding member of 42 Entertainment, the non-traditional marketing pioneers, where he spent over 12 years producing content and multi-platform experiences, beginning with the world’s first alternate reality game, The Beast for Steven Spielberg’s Artificial Intelligence, as well as back to back Cannes Grand Prix Cyber Lion winners Year Zero for Nine Inch Nails (2008) and Why So Serious? for The Dark Knight (2009).
In addition, Robert has written, developed and produced programming for MTV, VH1 and FUSE television and has produced eight feature-length films to date including the critically acclaimed, The Life of Reilly, starring Charles Nelson Reilly and the cult hit comedy, Dummy (starring Adrien Brody and Milla Jovovich). His latest feature length documentary is L7: Pretend We’re Dead that tells the story of the legendary Los Angeles rock and roll band, L7.
He is an active member of the Producer’s Guild of America where he serves on the Mentor Committee, the Association of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Independent Game Developers Association and is a featured speaker at universities and guest panels.

María Aceves, with a photographic memory and a knack for numbers, is the not-so-secret weapon and CFO at BHC. This accomplished multi-lingual producer and native of Bilbao, Spain, brings a finance background to the Creative Producing process and has overseen the last five years of worldwide BHC productions, while also leading the company’s strategy and growth initiative.
Prior to BHC, Maria was active as an independent producer and consultant in script and brand development where she worked with top name professionals in film, television and technology. In addition, Maria is a Co-Founder of LA Panda Productions, the Los Angeles based commercial and feature film company whose mission is to create a bridge between Hollywood and Spanish language filmmaking. Maria and La Panda have seen recent success with their SXSW award-winning feature “10.000 Km”. Her latest full length documentary with BHC, is the story of L7, the seminal grunge punk band: “L7: Pretend We’re Dead”.
Maria’s strong interest in education has led her to help young filmmakers of tomorrow through a select group of charity organizations. She serves as the Vice Chair Emeritus of Breaking into Hollywood, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps aspiring artists in turning their passions into careers in the entertainment industry.
A classically trained musician, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management and a Masters in International Finance from Universidad del País Vasco.
Maria enjoys singing in the shower, the ocean, and running away from doctors.
